About Trail Nest

We started Trail Nest because buying decent camping gear in Pakistan meant guessing: unclear specs, sleeping bags rated for temperatures they could never handle, and nobody to ask. So we built the store we wanted to buy from.

Tent below the mountains

Our story

Trail Nest began in Islamabad with a simple frustration. Every trip north meant hunting through markets and online listings for gear that might or might not survive a night at 3,500 metres. Sleeping bags were labelled with temperatures they could never handle. Tents arrived without the pegs. And when something went wrong, there was nobody to ask.

So we built the shop we wanted to buy from: a focused range of camping equipment chosen for the conditions people actually camp in, from the Margalla Hills to Fairy Meadows, Neelum Valley and Deosai.

What we stand for

  • Honest specs. Real weights and realistic temperature ratings, written plainly.
  • Gear for local conditions. Cold, high and dusty nights, monsoon rain and long jeep rides.
  • Help before and after you buy. Ask us which tent suits your route, or how to fix a broken pole.
  • Leave no trace. We share responsible camping practices in every guide we write.

Whether this is your first night under canvas or your tenth trek in Gilgit-Baltistan, we are glad you are here.

How a product gets on our shelves

  1. We check the specs

Real weights, real temperature ratings, real waterproofing numbers. If a supplier cannot back a claim, we do not list the product.

  2. We use it outdoors

Tents get pitched in wind, stoves get lit at altitude, bags get slept in on cold nights before they reach the store.

  3. We write honest descriptions

Every product page says what the gear is good for and where it falls short, so you can buy once and buy right.

  4. We stay around after you buy

Questions on pitching, repairs or returns go to a person who has used the gear, not a script.
